Our beautiful log home is on the highest point in the Acadian Village of L'Ardoise, Cape Breton Island, with a 120° view of the Atlantic Ocean and harbour.

If the beach is your thing, a quick 5 mile drive will get you to the nearest beach, which is 1.5 miles long, where you can get some sun or go for a swim.
 Additionally, wild berries such as blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, dewberry, and cranberry can be found growing all over throughout the area and may be picked for your eating pleasure. The summer months are a great time to collect these delicious berries for making pies, putting them in your pancakes, or eating them right off the bush.
 After you have rounded up all of the berries you can eat why not do a little Clam Digging for your lunch or dinner. Located only 5 miles away you'll find superb clam beds from which you'll have no problem finding dozens of these delicious treasures.

Our beautiful home is available for rent on a Saturday through Saturday basis. You can arrive anytime after 2:00 PM and must leave by 11:00 AM on the following Saturday. If you are interested in a shorter stay please feel free to contact us so we can discuss the appropriate rate for your length of stay. Our Saturday thru Saturday rate is $700 (Canadian) for the week.
